With midterm elections around the corner, advocacy groups representing the community predict it will remain a “litmus test” in key mid-term races. In a report out Monday, the immigration reform advocacy group America’s Voice outlined 40 mid-term races where Hispanic voters could have a significant impact on the outcome.

Dear Maria Teresa.
I am a Latino living in Maryland who is on the verge of going out on the streets to counter the tea (read white) party express. Anyone looking at these folks can stand back and be taken by the incredible likeness to politics I the late 50’s in the south. Literacy for voters!! For God’s sake. This was an excuse for keeping blacks from voting. It seems the tea party people want to revive the nasty ……………..to make sure immigrants are not allowed to vote! Are we not the fastest majority of voters in the country? If so that is precisely what these white folks are afraid of and they are organizing to make sure our vote is not counted.
We must not allow this insidious ideology to take hold.
I propose to that we must call them out and make them face up to this nasty fact.
I propose founding a “Chocolate Party” to include people from every nationality and raze that are not white.
I propose to include in this movement those white folks that are repelled by the white tea party folk’s lack of sensitivity.
The hate for the brown people is based on a cultural difference that is viewed by some as the downfall of the US based on the unnatural fear of a different color. Black people have proven that given the opportunity they can become an asset to the health of the country. It seems like we brown people most now do the same.
Please help me out with this idea. We must do something to help Obama and ourselves before it is too late.

Chocolate Party, there’s another division of race, nice??? Socialism is NOT the way! Just because someone isn’t willing to do their fare share doesn’t entitle them to the fruits of others hard work!
