Colorado Represent! is a coordinate civic engagement campaign designed to inform, inspire and motivate Colorado’s Latino youth to civic participation. Colorado Represent! is registering Latino youth to vote throughout the State of Colorado. Colorado Represent! realizes that registering is only part of the equation so we will be working to Get the Latino Youth Out to Vote this November. To effectively engage Latino youth the program will include high school and college outreach, social networking, text messaging, PSAs, grassroots mobilizations and signature events all designed specifically for Latino youth by Latino youth.
There are almost 75,000 eligible Latino youth in Colorado that are not registered to vote. By increasing the number of registered Latinos we will be increasing the political power of young Latinos across the state. It is about being young, being Latino and voting. It time to Represent!
