The letter from the network’s senior V.P. is after the jump…

Dear friends of Lifetime:

We’ve been tracking the weather all weekend and thought everything would be up running and clear by Tuesday for our much-anticipated event. However, our sources on the ground are telling us otherwise, to our dismay.

The W Hotel and Capitol File magazine have both suggested that we reschedule the event and given their expertise, we have decided to move ahead with that plan.

I know this is extremely disappointing to all of us. It’s truly the last thing we wanted to do.

Please stay tuned for a NEW DATE and time for the Secrets of Powerful Women book launch event!

All the best,
Danielle
